Julia obtained her Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Connecticut in 2020 before qualifying from the University of Glasgow in 2025. She became a licensed wildlife rehabilitator by the age of 18 and has loved working with animals ever since, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery.

Julia joined us in August 2025 and is based at our Haverfordwest branch. Outside of work she keeps herself busy with an impressive range of interests – reading, gardening, shopping, cooking, playing piano, paddle boarding, wild swimming, going to the spa, seeing live music and travelling, to name just a few.

At home she has two pets with very different personalities – Smidgeon, a black cat rescued from a bin, and a Jack Russell who tests her patience daily.

Her favourite thing about Pembrokeshire? The cliffs and the wildflowers.
