Debbi
Debbi has been working in the veterinary field for 25 years, beginning her journey in Canada where a back injury redirected her career from the equine field. On returning to the UK she started her nurse training, qualifying in 2007. She has a keen interest in anaesthesia and analgesia as well as inpatient and medical nursing, and has built her experience across an emergency hospital in London and locum work around Wales and England before joining us at Fenton.
Outside of work Debbi loves her sheep, lunches in the sun with friends and sitting in the sun surrounded by peace and quiet.
At home she has a wonderfully chaotic household – Chez and Amigo, two Portugese Podengo crosses brought home from a family holiday in Portugal 11 years ago after being found stray and rummaging through the bins; Mable, a Border Terrier with a serious case of FOMO; various cats brought home from work for one reason or another, three of which came from a London emergency hospital; a small flock of sheep; two Kune Kune pigs and multiple chickens. All of which, as Debbi puts it, keep her very busy and very broke.
Her favourite thing about Pembrokeshire? Beautiful – the end!
