Bridie began her journey in veterinary practice as a work experience student, which quickly confirmed her path. After a short stint of volunteering she was fortunate enough to be offered a dual role as an animal care assistant and receptionist, before going on to complete her Veterinary Nurse training at Myerscough College. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in May 2024 and joined us in February 2025, where she continues to build her clinical experience and develop her skills.

Bridie works across our Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock branches. Outside of work she loves anything adventurous – hiking, exploring with her partner and dog, and travelling to make memories wherever wildlife is involved. She has previously spent time in South Africa, which deepened her appreciation for all animals, and is usually already planning her next trip.

At home she shares her life with two very special pets – Goose, a sweet and sensitive lurcher, and Leroy the cat, who started out hand-reared and has grown into, as Bridie puts it, a bit of a savage. Somehow they get along brilliantly and keep life very entertaining.

Her favourite thing about Pembrokeshire? The stunning natural beauty, incredible beaches and great food – she loves spending a morning walking part of the coast path and stopping at a local café or restaurant.
