Nicky's career started in retail before moving into banking – but working with animals was always where she wanted to end up, whether in a veterinary practice or a rescue centre. In November 2022 she joined the Fenton Vets team as a client care assistant, working across both our Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock branches.

At home, Nicky has two domestic shorthair cats – Yuki and Zelda – who she took on from a client who had rescued them back in 2024. They've clearly landed on their feet.

Outside of work, Nicky has a passion for K-Pop, which provides the soundtrack to her many long walks around Pembrokeshire with her partner and family. It's a combination that works surprisingly well.

Her favourite thing about Pembrokeshire? The coastal walks – and the view of the Preseli mountains from her back garden, which isn't a bad thing to wake up to.
