Ria completed her BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare whilst working for the practice, graduating with a first class honours degree. She started out working with the groomers and reception at our Pembroke Dock branch before continuing with us as a patient care assistant at our Haverfordwest practice.

Ria is based at our Haverfordwest branch. Outside of work she is a Liverpool FC family – enjoying trips to the city for games, parades and shopping, with Liverpool very much a second home. She also loves walking the dogs and family days out.

At home she has quite the crew – Tommy, a Scottish Terrier who is the best boy, winning best puppy in show and competing at Crufts when he was a baby, and who loves cuddles and being part of everything; Copper, a longhaired German Shepherd who is not quite as well behaved as his smaller older brother but is an excellent brother to Ria's little girls; Maggie, a DSH black cat who came in to work as a stray and has never left; and Twiggle and Santa, two longhaired guinea pigs named by her little girl who keep everyone entertained with their characters.

Her favourite thing about Pembrokeshire? All the great places to walk the dogs and have family days out.
