Refurbishment is complete!!

We are pleased to announce that our recent refurbishment of the clinical areas is now complete.
Thanks for your patience in bearing with us during this last phase of the practice update.
This hopefully is it! So there should be no more disruption and lack of parking spaces in the
foreseeable future!
This latest phase means that we now have the most up to date equipment to ensure the fastest
and best possible diagnosis and treatment times for your animals.
On the diagnostic imaging side we have invested in a brand new ‘top of the range’ powerful
digital x -ray machine that most hospitals would be proud of. This is housed in our new imaging
suite along with our existing portable ultrasound scanner.
We have a separate dental suite where dental procedures (scale, polish and extractions) are
carried out. This specialist dental room contains a dedicated dental x-ray machine where digital
images of individual teeth can be taken and instantly viewed before decisions on treatment are
There are two newly refurbished operating theatres with air conditioning so each patient’s
temperature can be monitored and controlled during surgery and our new surgical preparation
areas ensure that animals are efficiently anaesthetised and recovered in the safest possible
The new storage facility at the side of the building houses large oxygen cylinders so that oxygen
can be piped into all parts of the clinical areas to deliver oxygen to our anaesthetic machines
and oxygen delivery systems in the kennels and preparation areas.
We already have extensive laboratory equipment so that we can carry out analysis of as many
blood tests as possible in house. These are now located in their own dedicated room which is
temperature controlled and linked to the computer system ensuring rapid accurate reporting of
results for tests .
We have tried to think of everything and are very proud of what we have achieved but don’t take
our word for it ...!
Watch this space for details of our open day so that you can take a tour and see behind
the scenes for yourselves.
