Veterinary Surgeons

The Fenton Veterinary Practice is a large single centre mixed practice (Small Animal and Large Animal farm work, no horses). The Small Animal (SA) and Large Animal (LA) departments run separate day and night time rotas. We run with six SA vets and eight LA vets. SA rota currently 1:20 weekends, LA rota 1:7 weekends. CPD is encouraged and generously funded for 5 days per annum. In excess of 6 weeks annual leave. Salary dependant upon experience.

Veterinary Nurses

We are in the process of becoming a nurse training practice.  We currently have two fully qualified VN's, a first year student nurse.

Support Staff

We have a number of support staff in reception, stock room and admininstration.

Pembrokeshire is an unspoilt rural area with a coastal national park (home to some of the UK's best beaches and more Blue Flag beaches than any other county in Wales.)  Haverfordwest is the county town, and is ten minutes from the coast.  Swansea is just over 1 hour away, Cardiff just under 2 hours.  For a view around the county (slightly rose tinted!) visit visitpembrokeshire.com.

Come to see what this area can offer!  A little bit like Cornwall without the traffic and crowds.... maybe better!  Great beaches, scuba diving, coastal walking, sailing, fishing - the outdoor leisure opportunities are huge, with the time off to enjoy life.
