Prescriptions

For your convenience, you may request repeat prescriptions through the website.  This is for pets on long-term regular medication only (eg heart treatment, diabetes, arthritis).

Legally, we can only prescribe or dispense prescription only medicines to animals 'under our care'.  In most cases this means examining the animal at least every six months.  Currently, there is no charge for an examination solely to satisfy this legal requirement.  Respectfully, we advise that consultation and examinations beyond fufilling this requirement, or cases requiring  more in depth professional scrutiny, will be charged as for regular examinations.       

On line requests will be processed the next working day.  Alternatively, you can request a repeat prescription by telephone during office hours.
