Home visits
We can arrange to visit your pet at home in some circumstances. However, in most cases there are great advantages to you and your pet in coming into the clinic. We cannot bring all the equipment or medicines that we have in the clinic, or a veterinary nurse always, without whom the job can be much more difficult. We would advise bringing your pet to the clinic in almost every case.
Sometimes, if your pet is very ill, and you wish him or her to be put to sleep at home, we can accomodate this provided we have sufficient notice. In most cases such a decision follows on from a lengthy illness, so planning a day or so ahead is possible. The further you live from the clinic, the more planning and notice is required.
Visiting pets at home also takes much longer than at the clinic, and we respectfully advise that home visits are more costly because of this.
