Subsidised Neutering For Dogs
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
The Dogs Trust are running a regional campaign on dog neutering and ID chipping until 11th November 2008 only. Please read below for more information. Under the horizontal line you will see the instructions regarding the normal scheme.
The Fenton Veterinary Practice is proud to support the latest Dogs Trust scheme that will be running from 21 July to 11 November 2008. Dog owners with means-tested benefits (see below) will be offered a package of neutering plus ID chipping. In return the owner will make a £10 donation to the Dogs Trust, and then book an appointment with us (The Fenton Veterinary Practice), by phone or on-line. The regular scheme is a £30 donation.
Please note that all appointments with us have to be made before 11 November 2008. Each registered dog owner will be given a voucher to present to the surgery that will include both neutering and microchipping.

The Dogs Trust (a well respected animal charity, formerly NCDL) operate a subsidised neutering scheme. We are delighted to support this charitable scheme, and will carry out the operations for eligible owners. Owners contribute £30 towards the cost of the operation, the charity and the practice taking care of the remainder. Contact us for details of eligibility.
Eligible benefits (as of September 2007) are:
- Income Support,
- Jobseeker's Allowance (Income Based),
- Working Tax Credit,
- Housing Benefit,
- Council Tax Benefit and
- Pension Credit.
